Experience
My eight years of experience are matched by a lifelong love of learning that motivates me to excel as a tutor. I specialize in tutoring English, both as an academic subject as well as for test prep (SAT, AP exams). I am confident that my passion for literacy will help motivate struggling students of reading, writing, grammar, and literature. I began as a peer tutor in high school, tutoring professionally upon graduation with High Honors from UC Santa Barbara. This experience is bolstered by my time spent as an ESL teacher, which gave me a more solid understanding of pedagogical principles.
