I am an elementary school teacher with 15 years experience. I have taught third, sixth and fifth grade as well as privately tutored for nearly twenty years. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Child and Adolescent Studies, a multiple subjects teaching credential, a Master's Degree in Education with a specialization in Reading. I also have a Reading Specialist Credential.
Experience
I have been privately tutoring for nearly twenty years. I am familiar with the Lindamood-Bell method as well as other tactile approaches to learning. I enjoy working with students and using a variety of fun methods and strategies to help them gain a stronger understanding of the material as well as help them to increase their confidence.
